Greater Cheyenne Greenway

The Greater Cheyenne Greenway is a system of paths that serve as a gateway to the parks and neighborhoods of the community.

The Greenway provides

  • Areas for recreation
  • Acts as an alternate transportation route
  • Serves as a wildlife corridor

The Greenway has been recognized as an award-winning project.  In 1996, Cheyenne was named a "Trail Town USA" by the National Park Service and the American Hiking Society as a direct result of the Greenway.

Comprising nearly 21 miles of trails for walking, running, cycling and skating, the Greenway has grown into an integral part of life in Cheyenne.  It draws more than 35,000 users annually in a city of just over 55,000.

Main Sections include:

  • Crow Creek
  • Dry Creek
  • Sun Valley
  • Lions Park
  • Allison Draw
  • Pointe neighborhood
  • Storey & Converse Boulevards

Take advantage of these great trails that Cheyenne has to offer.  Whether you are a biker, walker or skater, these paths are a great use to get out of the house and observe some great scenery.

Next time you're bored, just jump on a bike and go!
