As the capital of Wyoming, Cheyenne is also the county seat of Laramie County. The city is located in the southeastern corner of the state, near the Colorado border. The city is home to about 54,000 residents and the average Cheyenne resident is 37 years old, married, lives in a household of two, travels less than 15 minutes to work, and earns a household income of $43,900. Organic Style magazine lists Cheyenne as No. 7 on their list of Healthy Cities. Also, with over 50 different locations listed on the National Register of Historical Places, Cheyenne tops the list as the most historic small town.

Attractions
The Cheyenne Botanic Gardens is an 8-acre facility in Lions Park associated with High Plain Arboretum. The gardens include a 6,800-square-foot conservatory that includes three solar-heated greenhouses. The last week of every July is when Cheyenne hosts the world's largest outdoor rodeo.  Also, the Cheyenne Frontier Days draw in over 30,000 tourists with all the cowboy activities, a carnival, gunslingers, historic tours and many other features.
